As you know, I attended a group training (E3™Communication workshop) with work colleagues almost a year ago. Among other things, I learned quite a lot about ‘Rapport’ – what it is, when and how to use it. During the day we learned all about the things we could notice about a person’s behaviour and how we could use that information to help us develop rapport and become more influential. I admit I was slightly sceptical about using this – mainly because I could not see how it would make my sales role any easier. Now, in February 2006, almost a year later, I am noticing that I’m using the techniques and strategies I learned and am effortlessly able to adapt them to suit me more and more everyday.
